A player might first choose the angle at which to fire their shot, then adjust the power accordingly. Most players will have the controls down pat by the end of their first game. While it seems hard at first to learn to play the game, the controls of Pocket Tanks are a real relief. The game ends when all weapons have been fired, and the player with more points is declared the winner. Each player starts with ten weapons, and a player may fire one weapon per turn. Once the weapons have been chosen, the players are then taken to the battle screen. In a normal game of Pocket Tanks, each player must choose from a list of weapons, randomly chosen, which include everything from spreading shots to sniper rifles to flaming globs of napalm.
The single-player mode pits the player tank against a computer opponent, while the two-player mode lets two people test their tank-blasting skill. Gameplay : Players have the option to either play a single player or two-player game. Based on several other artillery games (most notably Worms), Pocket Tanks features two tanks, a total of thirty weapons, and the potential for hours of fun. While it's not a very popular game just yet, the latest creation from Blitwise Productions is an easy hit. THE BAD : Music Gets A Bit Annoying, Levels Need More Design, No Online Play.
